What is a bank statement loan program?

A bank statement loan is a type of mortgage loan that uses the borrower’s personal bank statements, rather than their tax returns, to verify their income. This type of loan is often used by self-employed borrowers or those with irregular income, as it can provide a more accurate picture of their financial situation.
