I have four years of final finishes at the Big XII championships with the University of Missouri Tigers Swimming, which coincided with a magna cum laude academic career with the MU College of Business and then the prestigious firm of Bear Stearns in Manhattan, New York, where the real education began.  All this training and experience left me with great stories and a promising outlook, then the financial mortgage crisis of 2008 left me wondering what went wrong.

The takeaways from this great American catastrophe are diverse and dynamic but nothing struck me more than how millions of Americans were able to take impractical loans they could not afford against property with irrational valuation.  Ultimately this is the basis for what the talented team at USA Mortgage has been brought together to do; evaluate market factors as they change using a deep network of expert analysis in real-time, educate consumers in open communication throughout every step of decision-making, and process all regulatory and lending requirements to the minute detail ensuring your goals are achieved in time as promised.

My team’s success is again multiplied by the tireless contributions of my loving wife Natalie Thomas, a Columbia native and Director of Advancement with Columbia Independent School.  Together we hope to bring useful change to our community.  We are blessed with two beautiful children Jake Boone and Margot “Gigi” Rose, our golden doodle Winnie and our most recent rescue, a lemon beagle named Cherry.  We love to enjoy all that Columbia and the Lake of the Ozarks have to offer. You will likely run into us around town enjoying some time away from the office.  Beware we are sweat enthusiasts and after a drink will likely encourage you to join us at our local Orange Theory gym to enjoy working it off for another great day!  The team and I are looking forward to making your next dream your newest reality!
